Full Bio
With over fifteen years of experience within United Nations agencies, including a substantial tenure at FAO, I specialize in food security and nutrition. As a senior policy officer at the FAO regional office in Budapest, I provide technical leadership for implementing result-based policies in food security, sustainable agriculture, and rural development. I manage specialized teams, lead policy analysis focusing on economic perspectives, and foster strategic partnerships.
I am adept at aligning initiatives with the FAO Strategic Framework 2022-2031 and analyzing the impact of crises and shocks on food systems and security. Additionally, I lead FAO’s flagship regional publication on food security and nutrition, collaborating with United Nations teams, analyzing regional issues, supporting countries in the implementation of projects related to policies and strategies, and representing the organization at international meetings and conferences. My results-oriented approach and ability to meet tight deadlines contribute to my successful track record.
